The Safe Data Zone is a revolutionary online storage platform where the online backup components, such as encryption, fault tolerance, indexing and privacy, are native to the storage platform. File content, structure and ownership are kept separate which keeps your data more private than encrypted files on a local hard drive. The backup process is fully automatic and realtime. By default the Auto Throttle setting is enabled which monitors your computer and bandwidth and provides continuous backup, with no negative impact on your computer experience. Safe Data Zone uses de-duplication technology which allows the backup process to quickly identify any files which already exist in your account. This not only speeds up your backup process but saves you storage space. The client application runs efficiently while using minimal system resources. Safe Data Zone will automatically backup new or changed files while they are even in use.
Network and server security
We follow and implement ISO/IEC 20000 & 27001 compliant Information Security Management System (ISMS) standards. All our servers are maintained under strict supervision and monitoring as per the IT Security Policy and Webserver Security Guidelines issued by CERT-In (Indian Computer Emergency Response Team, Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Government of India). Our system uses a permission structure to safeguard file access and all files are shielded by 256-bit encryption with SSL available. Files are also continuously backed up behind firewalls. Load balancers ensure constant availability even in the event of equipment failure and fully n+1 redundant server clusters are models of high scalability and contemporary storage techniques. Thanks to network partitioning, they cannot be accessed directly from the Internet.
File compression technology allows you to save online time and storage space by compressing your data into a zip file before sending to remote server. Your data is encrypted into a secret code, thus even higher data protection is achieved. Your account is locked by the password and login and you are the only one who knows them. Account identification protects your data from unauthorized access. Without your confidential password, no one will ever access your account or data, even our key personnel.
